Ezgo motor reset button location

The two possible problems you can identify this way is either a bad speed controller, or a bad directional switch or motor. If the motor on your golf cart doesn't turn, the problem is probably the directional switch/motor, but if there is no voltage at all on your reading, you'll need to replace your speed controller.Located under a panel at the back of your golf cart will be the electric motor. The panel will be held in place by four or six screws. Use your screwdriver to remove these, turning them counterclockwise. Step 6 Reset the motor. When you pull the panel off you will see the electric motor.Expose the motor (you'll probably need a screwdriver to remove the cover), and look for a red button. It is usually near the main power source, where most of the wires are connected. Once you've pressed the button to reset the motor, reassemble the cart, charge up the batteries, and give it a test run.

It sounds absurd, but if your electric golf cart is not running, the very first thing I would check is the reset button on the side of the motor, if your cart is so equipped. Check around the outside of the motor and see if you can find a small button to press. This is usually a safeguard against overheating. It should have a small reset button (Usually it will be red) located near the main battery supply. Hit the reset button and then put the cover back on the motor. The next step would be to recharge your cart and try turning it on again The reason your EZGO golf cart won't start and has no spark is that there is a fault with the ignitor/key switch.
